The Three Little Pigs

Once upon a time, there were three little pigs named Peter, Paul, and Penny. They decided to leave their mother and build their own homes.

Peter built his house out of straw. It was quick and easy, but not very strong. Paul built his house out of sticks. It was stronger than Peter’s, but still not very durable. Penny built her house out of bricks. It was strong and durable but took a long time to build.

One day, a big bad wolf came and blew down Peter’s straw house. Peter ran to Paul’s stick house, but the wolf blew that down too. Finally, the wolf came to Penny’s brick house and blew and blew, but he couldn’t blow it down.

The three pigs lived happily ever after in Penny’s strong brick house, and they never saw the big bad wolf again.

The moral of the story is that hard work and determination pay off in the end. It’s important to take the time to do things right and to build something that will last.

Jack and the Beanstalk

Once upon a time, in a small village at the base of a mountain, there lived a poor boy named Jack. He lived with his mother, who struggled to make ends meet. One day, Jack’s mother sent him to the market to sell their cow, but on the way, he met an old man who offered to trade the cow for a handful of magic beans. Jack, not knowing the worth of the beans, made the trade.

When he got home and showed his mother the beans, she was furious. She threw the beans out the window in anger and sent Jack to bed without dinner. But during the night, a giant beanstalk grew from the beans and reached high into the sky.

The next morning, Jack decided to climb the beanstalk to see where it led. As he climbed, he reached the clouds and found himself in front of a giant castle. He entered the castle and found a room filled with gold and jewels. He also found a giant sleeping inside. Jack, not wanting to steal, just took a handful of gold and ran back down the beanstalk.

When he got home, he showed his mother the gold, and they were able to live comfortably. Jack and his mother were no longer poor, and they were able to help the people in their village.

But the giant, who was the rightful owner of the gold, woke up and realized that someone had taken his treasure. He climbed down the beanstalk and confronted Jack and his mother. The giant was furious and demanded that the gold be returned.

Jack, feeling guilty, offered to return the gold and make amends. The giant, seeing Jack’s honesty and willingness to make things right, forgave him. He also gave Jack a magic harp and a hen that laid golden eggs as a gift.

As the hare ran, he saw a field of beautiful flowers and decided to stop and admire them. “I have plenty of time,” he thought, “I’ll just take a quick break before crossing the finish line.”

Meanwhile, the tortoise plodded along, never losing his focus. He passed the hare, who was still admiring the flowers, and continued on his steady path toward the finish line.
